rakshi	11:02a	Dangar and Rory... Over the holidays I posted a story that I've been working on for well over a year. The story means a lot to me and is actually one of my very favorites. It's called. "Hope, Faith, and Remembrance: Dangar Finds His Hero" I thought that those of you who liked the story would like to see some pictures of Dangar and Rory. These are all illustrations that could accompany the story and don't deal with its ending. So.. no spoilers here. I've actually been thinking of writing more in Dangar and Rory's universe. I thank him for a story that has inspired me from the time I was 15. I thank him for characters who have become so much a part of my life and my heart that I can no longer see them as wholly fictional. For the courage, for the inspiration, for the love that flows into my heart from following their journey.. I am so grateful. I thank him for restoring my faith when nothing else could. I can see my path thanks to the light he provided. I no longer fear the darkness. I thank him for putting my feet on a path that has lead to the best friends anyone could ever hope to have. I thank him for leading me to my own creativity in a way that nothing else has ever touched. I thank him for Hobbits. And I thank him for Hobbits. And I thank him for.... Samwise. rakshi	10:23a	Christmas 2008! A happier post! OK.. time for a happier post. I had a great Christmas. My kids weren't doing all that great, been a rough year for them. So they didn't have many presents to put under their tree for Christamas morning and they were crying and upset about it. So... I told them to come and spend the night at my house Christmas Eve and let Santa come there... then there'd be lots of gifts under the tree. So they did. It was actually rather pleasant. We had pizza and watched 'Charlie Brown Christmas' and one of my very favorite Christmas movies 'The Santa Clause'. It's always hectic with Christian around (I don't know how my daughter and son-in-law do it!) but eventually he dropped off. It was quite nice. Christmas morning Christian was quite happy with his gifts, as was Brian, then the kids made breakfast. That was really it for the day. My daughter was feeling ill so I told her to save the dinner for New Year's Day and to go home and go to bed... and I played LOTRO for the rest of the day. Didn't hurt MY feelings one bit. I love spending time in Middle-earth. So all in all.. a very happy holiday. AND... I've got a new layout up for anyone who wants to take a peek and ( here's a few pictures from our Christmas Eve and morning. ) Even with the economy tanking and giving me a lot of worries... I still have a lot to feel grateful for. Current Mood: grateful (Comment on this)

msilverstar	4:33p	zune programmers screwed up Whoever it was on my friends page that has a Zune -- it's not just yours. Microsoft programmers apparently forgot that a year can be longer than 365 days, on a Leap Year. Like 2008. So all the Zunes froze. PC world says that the fix is to drain the battery and then plug the Zune in again. Go to Zune.net/support for more details. (Comment on this)
